Last Wednesday the Stone Federation held a seminar day in London for members about design and installation of natural stone. Amarestone's Director, Steve Turner, was one of a group of five industry experts to present a talk to the assembled stone professionals.
I went along to listen to the talks which featured a range of key topics such as current industry regulation, technical specification, problem solving and general best practice. As always, the team at the Stone Federation did an excellent job of hosting the event and their collective enthusiasm for raising standards in the industry through knowledge sharing really shone through. Well done and thank you!

Spanish Limestone Quarry visit
Last month, Denise and Steve spent two days visiting a limestone quarry in Southern Spain to select slabs for an upcoming project. The architect on the project had specified Crema Palancar, a pale coloured limestone, for the roof terrace.
February and March were exceptionally busy months for us this year. We presented at the Surface Design Show, exhibited at Ecobuild and Homebuilding & Renovating, and several big client projects that had been in the planning stages since before Christmas had just been given the go ahead.

UPDATE: 25/09/2020
Very sad to hear that Luis Sanchez Diez are having financial difficulties at the moment but we're in contact with them and wishing them well for finding a way through the present trouble.
Watch this space.
Steve
