Blue and grey coloured limestones have recently become very "on trend" but have they now overtaken the demand for the more traditional beige and white coloured limestones?
Choosing Black and White Marble Floor Tiles:
Black and white marble floor tiles have been popular for a hundred years and more. It is still a classic good look for Victorian and Edwardian houses. But with a little creativity, the style can work well in more modern houses and it doesn't have to be limited to a purely black and white colour palette.

Spanish Limestone Quarry visit
Last month, Denise and Steve spent two days visiting a limestone quarry in Southern Spain to select slabs for an upcoming project. The architect on the project had specified Crema Palancar, a pale coloured limestone, for the roof terrace.
February and March were exceptionally busy months for us this year. We presented at the Surface Design Show, exhibited at Ecobuild and Homebuilding & Renovating, and several big client projects that had been in the planning stages since before Christmas had just been given the go ahead.

French Limestone at Ecobuild and HB&R Show 2015. Over the last few weeks we have been busy rushing from one part of the country to another for trade shows, quarry visits and client meetings. March is always a busy time of year as spring gets underway and projects that have been in the planning stages over winter start to gather pace.
At the beginning of March we were at Ecobuild which took place at Excel, London. This year we decided to team up and share a stand with the Stone Federation, our industry trade organisation.

Create the look: inside outside space
Recently, Amarestone exhibited at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show at London’s Olympia. Over the course of the show we chatted to homebuilders and renovators with projects ranging from small scale refurbishments through to ambitious new builds.

Italian Travertine and Spanish Marble at Ecobuild 2014
