Chamesson French Limestone - elegance and performance

A few years ago, I came across the Chamesson limestone that had an off-white background with a faint scattering of grey shells that drifted across the face of the stone in wispy lines. For a pale limestone, it was unusually hard and it was perfect for a project to create some display cabinets for a famous perfume and underwear company. We supplied limestone panels for their perfume displays that can still be seen in a number of airport duty free centres around Europe.

Very sad to hear that Luis Sanchez Diez are having financial difficulties at the moment but we're in contact with them and wishing them well for finding a way through the present trouble.

I was approached a little while ago to source some French limestone flooring for a private customer who was renovating a kitchen in an old house. I asked which particular French stone they had in mind and the reply came back that, "French Limestone is French Limestone, isn't it? Isn't it all the same thing?"
